Mary Elizabeth Nicholls was aged 22 years old at time of registering passage for the Bombay. Mary was born in 1842 in Cornwall and christened in Truro on the 1st of November,1843. Mary’s parents were Charles and Mary, and her father worked as a Cartman.
Mary married Thomas William Robinson in 1866 in Onehunga.
Thomas died on the 2nd of November,1896 and Mary on the 13th of August,1913. They are buried together with three of there children.

Mary and Thomas’s known children are:
Charles Thomas Robinson. Charles was born in Thames,1867,but died on the 8th of July,1884 in a accident aged 17 years.

William John Robinson. William was born in Thames in 1869 and died on the 1st of April,1940.

Frances Ida Heenan. Frances was born in 1871 and married John Henry Heenan on the 3rd of April,1890.


Frank Walter Robinson. Frank was born in Thames in 1873.
George Henry Robinson. George was born in Thames in 1875 but died 9 months later on the 13th of November.
George Henry Robinson. George was born in Thames in 1876 but died on the 20th of Febuary,1886.

William Ord was aged 18 years old at time of registering passage for the Bombay.
